Nice meal but shame we didn't realise the kitchen closed 15 mins after our booking slot!
Booked a table for 5.45pm - without realising that food was only served til 6pm on a Sunday! Ordered starters and mains quickly - but because the kitchen was closing, all the food came out at the same time, which was a shame as it all felt reallly rushed. Not the pub's fault as looking on their website now, I can see the times that food is served - but maye Squaremeal could have had the kitchen opening times on their site? When booking, I just presumed that all the tables later in the evening were fully booked.
Having said that, the food was really tasty and we all enjoyed our meals. The staff were all friendly and professional - but we were in and out within an hour as the food came out so quickly and all togther which was a shame. The menu is fairly small (probably 8 mains) - but there wasn't an awful lot of choice for vegetarians (we had one in our party).
