About

Having existed for over 150 years, The White Lion was licensed in 1856 by Mr James Rogers - look out for his tankard in the pub restaurant to this day. The renowned 19th Century murderer Charles Peace was said to have kept the horse he used to escape on in the inn's stables, before being caught and executed in 1879.

The White Lion is a dog friendly pub in Yateley. We welcome four legged friends and have water and treats available to ensure they're as comfortable as you are during your visit!

Dogs are allowed in the bar area of our pub, as this is the most friendly environment for you and your four-legged friends to feel relaxed, safe, and happy at all times during your visit.
