About

Nestled just moments away from Studland beach, you'll discover one of Dorset's most enchanting hotels and restaurants, perfect for families and canine companions alike. Immerse yourself in the natural wonders of the Jurassic Coast, take a refreshing dip in the hotel’s pool, and then savour a classic afternoon tea by a crackling fire. What more could you wish for?

At the heart of any memorable holiday is exceptional dining, and Knoll House’s restaurant takes pride in offering a mouthwatering menu of freshly prepared dishes. Whether you seek a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or a refined dinner, they cater to your every culinary desire. Knoll House warmly welcomes both guests and non-residents to enjoy the culinary offerings, and also provides options for private dining and special celebrations. From traditional family feasts to intimate candlelit dinners, and from indulgent Dorset cream teas to delectable modern cuisine, savour the flavours of fresh food in this stunning coastal setting. The doors are open not only to guests but also to visitors from near and far.

The a la carte menu begins with a king prawn cocktail served with brown bread and butter, silky smooth burrata cheese with Isle of Wight tomatoes, basil and Dorset sea salt, along with seared Barbary duck breast with radicchio, pink peppercorn and pomegranate dressing. There's a good variety of mains on the menu, from pan-roasted rump of lamb with harissa, potatoes and feta, pan fried fillet of sea bass with samphire, capers and lemon and garlic and herb butter, and a summer vegetable, coconut, chilli and lemongrass curry.

You won't want to skip dessert! Choose from a selection of New Forest of ice creams or sorbets, rich chocolate torte with sea salted pistachio, classic vanilla creme brulee with all butter shortbread and sticky toffee pudding with candied walnuts.
