About

The Pyewipe is a family run business opened in 1998 by Robert and Sara Pickles. Situated only a 20 to 30 minute walk away from Lincoln city centre, a leisurely stroll along Britain’s oldest man made waterway which is has surely become a hidden gem in Lincolnshire.

Popular as a ramblers’ favourite watering hole, narrowboat mooring point or restaurant for the discerning diner, The Pyewipe is all things to all folk. The perfect setting for a casual lunch with the family and friends or an outside drink! The addition of the Lodge in 2001 and the Big Hat Tipis in 2016 allows us to be an idyllic location for weddings, corporate events or business conferences. Please feel free to peruse our website, however only a visit can truly bring our legendary location, cuisine and hospitality to life.
