The Fox & Hounds is a quaint, British pub. Complete with all the old charms that you'd expect of an English countryside pub, this establishment is popular with both locals and passers by alike. Start your meal off with some unmissable starters. Choose from breaded garlic mushrooms with a blue cheese dip, a hog roast pork sage and onion pate with red onion chutney and toast, a deliciously silky soup of the day, panko breaded calamari with sweet chilli dip and a tear and share cranberry bread ring with camembert cheese and celery sticks.
Sandwiches are available Monday to Saturday until 5pm, and are served on a choice of ciabatta, white or brown bread, all served with soup and a salad garnish. Main dishes include all the classics - favourites like a hunters chicken, homemade beef lasagne with garlic dough balls, Samphire beer battered cod and chips, chilli con carne, whole tail scampi and fish pie. There are also plenty of steak options on the menu, from a sirloin to a gammon steak. Children are well catered for with a menu of their own that includes all the favourites, at a great price.
