This stylish hotel restaurant & bar is doing its bit to keep the Marylebone village spirit alive by sourcing many of its ingredients from local businesses. The daintily arranged meat & cheese boards feature superb produce from the Ginger Pig organic butchers & the famous cheese room at La Fromagerie, while bread comes from Paul bakery on the nearby high street. There’s even a Marylebone sausage, supplied by neighbourhood shop Biggles, which is served with creamed potatoes & onion gravy. With ingredients like these, it’s right & proper that the food is kept simple & hearty – roasted tomato soup vies with pear, chicory & blue cheese salad to start, while mains include duck confit with dauphinois potatoes or lobster & chips.
