This elegant, if slightly sterile, temple to organic living on the Chelsea/Pimlico border attracts affluent locals, who like the fact that it’s a shop as well as a deli. The elegant white-marbled interior features elegant shop shelves & deli displays, plus long communal tables for in-store dining. The day starts at 8am with wholesome breakfasts – boiled egg & sourdough soldiers or a £14 full English – ahead of generous salads, sandwiches & simple lunch dishes & delicious pastries for tea. Service can be slow but you can always browse in the store while you wait. The ground-floor food hall is complemented by basement wine & book displays & beautiful homeware is sold in the first-floor grocery.
