Occupying a two-storey site, the Brompton Quarter Cafe places a breezy café-cum-deli with full-length windows commanding views of Brompton Road above a more intimate dining room with floral banquettes, candlelight & frosted glass. Its menu roams Europe, encompassing plump, caramelised scallops with a verdant pea purée, crisp-skinned pork belly with a sweet cider & apple sauce, & rich marquise of chocolate with creme anglaise in the restaurant, while the café serves hot & cold mezze alongside comfort foods such as fish pie & beef stroganoff. Cooking can be inconsistent in the downstairs dining room & prices are on the steep side, so if you’re watching your pennies, eat upstairs. Service, however, is uniformly pleasant throughout.

On my way to watch Chelsea lose to Arsenal at Stamford Bridge yesterday, feeling a bit peckish, I popped in with a mate to what seemed a buzzing brasserie. with football in mind, we both ordered the house burger with chips. I must say it was one of the best burgers I ever had. i'm not quite sure if this was the typical food to have looking over all our neighbours being served up. it was very reasonable @ £32 for two with a bottle of water. I will definately pop in again to try out!
Really friendly service though not speedy but understandable as the place was packed. well done guys

Had a lunch over the weekend at Brompton Quarter with my wife.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was fresh and the options
from the gourmet bar were so uptizing.
We spent couple of hours in this place and had not only a good meal but a great time
as the atmosphere is brilliant!
truly recommend.

thanks,
