Square Meal review of Le Salon Bar:
Pouring some of the most expensive cocktails in London (from £12 a pop), it’s hard to knock the prices once you’ve had a taste of the dazzling concoctions at the top floor bar of L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon. The selection of wine & spirits is suitably impressive, but it’s the cocktails that delight in their sheer creativity & execution. Flavour & texture is carefully considered, from a heaven-sent Feijoa Vodkatini with lime sorbet to a Granny Smith Sour with Sauternes jelly. The intimate, plush surroundings are all blood red velvet & black marble bathed in candlelight, though plans are underway to double the space with the addition of an outdoor terrace. Advanced booking is necessary unless dining at one of the restaurants.
