Wow Simply Japanese

Crouch End is well endowed with good-quality eateries, but until recently had nowhere to satisfy those hankering after a taste of Japan. This modest little cafe doesn’t quite wow, but its dishes are well crafted & the menu covers a fair bit of ground. There’s sushi & sashimi, fab spider rolls, gyoza dumplings, salads, udon, tempura, teriyaki & generous portions of katsu curry. Blackboard specials are a nice touch, offering variations to regular customers. Service is sweet if a little confused at this generally welcome addition to the N8 budget eating scene.
