The Diner

This Soho newcomer takes you on a road-trip through the American heartlands, offering simple, hearty fare from across the States. We’re talking juicy burgers (Californian with Monterey Jack & guacamole or Mexican with hot chilli), bouncy hotdogs, five types of fries, four types of beans, all-day breakfasts (fresh pancakes or French toast) & ‘blue plates’. These are cheap cuts traditionally served as whole meals on compartmentalised blue plates (not here of course, it’s far too glam), including chilli, meatloaf, burritos & tacos. The Diner looks the part too: lots of neon, 50s high stools, booths & a small black leather bar area, which is a fine place to sip a cocktail (try a Golddigger: Johnny Walker Gold Label with agave syrup & Champagne) or a hard shake (a boozy milkshake).
