Bison & Bird

It has taken a while for Bison & Bird to assert itself among the plethora of neighbouring party bars, but top cocktails, big beats & easy-to-eat food have won it a strong following. The bar is less glitzy than other venues on the Clapham strip, yet it’s also cheaper & arguably more fun. Early in the week, things are usually quite civilised, as locals in search of decent salads, chicken wings, nachos & sharing platters fill the place. The joint starts to jump on Thursdays, when the Tequilas come out to play, & by the weekend it’s banging, with local 20- & 30-somethings letting their hair down. The big screens are magnets for sports fans, with all the big games shown. Whichever team wins, the party spirit will be undimmed.
