Square Meal Review of The Queen's Larder ?

‘A bloomin’ good Bloomsbury pub’, the unfussy, welcoming Queen’s Larder takes its name from Queen Charlotte, wife of ‘mad’ King George III, who brought her husband to this square for his clandestine treatments & rented a room below the inn for the duration. Over the years, this place has amassed a small but vocal gang of supporters, who rave about its helpful staff & friendly, unpretentious vibe. Order a pint of Greene King IPA or Old Speckled Hen & tuck into some patriotic pub grub – Stilton ploughman’s, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, near-legendary Spam fritters, fish & chips or a generous helping of steak & kidney pud, not forgetting cheese & tomato sarnies with Branston pickle.
