First Out has been serving the less outgoing element of the London gay & lesbian scene for over 21 years. An unpretentious bar-cum-cafe, it offers great value with four beers (Beck’s or San Miguel) or six shooters for a tenner & pitchers of Sea Breeze or Sex On The Beach at £8.95 during happy hour (5-7pm). There’s a short wine list & a small selection of sprits to choose from, plus veggie mains, soup, salads & gateaux, art exhibitions & DJ nights such as Girl Friday, a pre-club bash for lesbians & their male friends.
