Square Meal review of Bar Asia:
Selective in the way it roams through Asia, this South Ken newcomer is essentially Indian, but its grazing-style menu features Chinese dim sum as well as curries & tandoori specials. It also does a nice line in fresh fruit cocktails. A cooling Watermelon Martini made a perfect match for the nibbly likes of crisp-fried rice paper rolls filled with prawns & delicate herbs, ahead of rich chicken curry with fluffy naan bread & perfect pilau rice. Many choose to eat in the casual ground-floor bar but, if you’re visiting in the evening, we’d recommend heading for the atmospheric candlelit basement.
