Square Meal review of Martinis:
The dive bar to the Las Vegas-themed Dollar Grill above is a late-night haunt for a mix of blingy uptown types & Clerkenwell low-slung jeansters. All in all, we find the bar a bigger draw than the grill. Penumbral lighting, multiple glitterballs & cosy nooks for cuddling up create a louche speakeasy vibe. But there’s nothing louche about the cocktails rustled up at the dinky bar: stay on theme with a Show Girl or any of a fine range of martinis – try a Porn Star served with a shot of fizz on the side. Music is a blend of modern beats & old-school soul.
