The eponymous Italian jester would find plenty to smile about in this bar, where flairing mixologists will rustle up any of 100 well-made mixes, including Pineapple Caipirinha, Passionfruit Margarita & the fabulously retro Blue Lagoon. The wine list runs to 30 different bottles & includes half a dozen fizzes as well as jugs of sangria. Beers push no boundaries – John Smith Smooth, Corona & Baltika – & food is mainstream (Thai noodles, sausage & mash, salmon steak), which goes down just fine with the young mainstream crowd that comes here.
