Install yourself in its chicissimo bar at aperitivo hour (5.30-7pm) & partake of the Italian tradition for stuzzichini (complimentary savouries such as prosciutto with pickles, deep-fried calamari, bruschetti & pizzete) served with classic Italian quaffs: Bellini, Rossini, Aperol fizz & Italy’s Campari-based twin gifts to global cocktail culture – americano & negroni. If you prefer ‘classico con twist’, as they say, shots of chilli margarita, marmalade martini & hazelnut caipirinha are this season’s models. Alternatively, a selection of antipasti for two, with a bottle of rosso or bianco della casa should suit you, sir!
