Square Meal review of Ben’s Thai:
Last year Ben’s Thai relocated from The Warrington pub to the brightly lit first-floor of the Robert Browning just around the corner. Despite the relocation, it feels very much the same, with old-school pub looks & a somewhat sombre atmosphere that could be livened up with some background music. The menu covers all the Thai staples from great chicken satay & punchy pad thai to zesty curries & tasty stir-fried dishes. Given that this is a Samuel Smith’s pub, there are also some great – & very cheap – organic beers to wash it all down with. Food prices are very reasonable, while service is sweet & obliging.
