Housed on a boat moored in Cumberland Basin in Regent’s Park, this picturesque Chinese restaurant was built in the 1980s & its gilded screens, Chinese lanterns & fairy lights are now looking slightly scuffed. Cantonese, Peking & Szechuan flavours dominate the menu, though a smattering of dishes from Malaysia, Singapore & Japan can also be found. Start with chunky spare ribs in sweetly perfumed Champagne & honey sauce, or flavoursome dried spicy salt & peppercorn prawns, & follow with fiery sizzling beef with black pepper sauce, or deep-fried crispy sea bass cooked with light soy & sweet & sour sauces. Suited equally for corporate events & intimate dates, the Princess is sure to float your boat.
