Branches of Belgo & Bierodrome continue to draw the crowds, their appeal lying in a timeless formula of moules-frites & Belgian beers served up in fun, buzzy surrounds by ever-helpful staff. There’s plenty more too, from robust dishes such as rotisserie chicken to shots of multi-flavoured schnapps. Add kids’ menus, a great-value lunch & special deals such as ‘Beat the Clock’ (order at 6.12pm & you pay £6.12) & it’s easy to see why this chain is so popular with families, groups & workers alike.
