This stunning space is a chameleon of a venue, opening for breakfast through to lunch, cocktail o’clock & dinner. The vast industrial arena is quirky yet considered in its seriously funky design, with slouchy leather sofas & high tabletops in the bar, communal picnic tables in the dining area & all manner of foodie add-ons (a fish counter, deli shelves, bags of potatoes). The media crowd stop by for eggy breakfasts or freshly baked pastries to go; lunch brings ample sandwiches & mains (crab & crayfish linguine, say), while ‘skinny’ cocktails flow freely after 5pm. Most wines are available by the glass, thanks to an Enomatic system (check out the ‘flights’), while afternoon delights add to the myriad pleasures on offer here (think tea-based cocktails served with mini cucumber bites).
