A brazenly bright little bar & party venue housed in a grand old stone building just seconds away from Holborn tube, Traffic is a favourite with the local office crowd. They come for casual post-work drinks as well as corporate functions, & obliging staff do their bit by pouring keenly priced wines & bottled beers, as well as serving shots & pitchers of cocktails – perhaps wet kiss (Amaretto, peach schnapps, strawberries & cream). There’s a Greek-themed bar menu, too (think mezze platters, souvlaki & moussaka), plus lunchtime sandwiches. Happy hour (5-8pm), live bands (Cuban or jazz-funk) & Friday/Saturday club nights are added attractions. Head to the first-floor bar or alfresco terrace for a slightly quieter time.
