Named after the year that Chelsea became football league champions for the first time, the 55 restaurant located in CFC Village opened its doors in August 2007. Surroundings are contemporary yet informal, while the upmarket international menu includes salads, grilled fish & meats, & global dishes taking inspiration from Thailand & Italy to South America. You might start with Cornish crab, followed by ricotta & mascarpone tortellini with black olives & a vine tomato sauce, & finish with profiteroles. Prices are reasonable, & there is also a bar open for drinks until 1am.
