Cookbook Cafe

With the InterConti already boasting a top-class Italian in Theo Randall, its second eatery is more of a standard hotel dining room. It’s open all day, serving the usual favourites such as club sandwiches & food from a cold buffet. But there is the odd twist on the hotel diner formula: quirky design features include bookcases filled with every imaginable recipe book & chef stations are positioned round the room, where hot dishes are cooked to order in front of diners. Portions are generous; follow a nicely creamy pea risotto with a simple grilled king prawns with steamed rice. Sweet-natured service is a plus, & the eatery hosts regular guest chef promotions, cookbook launches & a notable Sunday brunch 12N-4pm.
