Corporate Event - Disappointed

We used this venue for our corporate quiz night, more than a few things were unsatisfactory. For starters some of the lightbulbs weren't working so some teams had to use their phones to be able to see their answer sheets, we had drinks on the tables which we were promised would be kept topped up, we had to keep asking for this to be done as there was only 1 barmaid who although she tried, only had one pair of hands. We'd also arranged with the venue for a buffet menu at the price of £12 per head. For that price each person received: 2 mini (size of a £2 coin) burgers, 1 fish goujon, one mini tomato pie and some potato wedges, not enough in my eyes to meet the pricetag. Food was substandard, some of it burnt and presentation was poor.

When speaking to the management at Firefly after our event explaining our disappointment, after first being promised some kind of refund we were then told there was nothing they could do as we hadn't mentioned it on the evening. No apology nothing.

I would not recommend this venue to anyone especially if you require food, its over priced and not worth the money, I could have produced something better from Iceland's frozen section for half the money!
