Square Meal review of Kicca:
Kicca’s black & fuchsia colour scheme makes a bold statement that may not be to everyone’s taste, but it’s nevertheless a comfortable little restaurant. Prices are hefty for a neighbourhood Italian, but portions are unusually generous for this diet-conscious area. A huge starter of seafood spaghetti comes packed with juicy prawns, mussels & clams & dressed in a rich tomato sauce. To follow, there are good renditions of simple favourites, such as pan-roast duck with broccoli or sea bass with braised fennel. A deliciously crunchy semifreddo with chocolate & hazelnuts is a terrific way to finish & there’s an excellent all-Italian wine list.
