Things could get very messy at Dirty Martini: its happy hour runs weekdays until 9pm & all night on Sundays & the signature Dirty (Bombay Sapphire gin or Belvedere vodka, Noilly Prat rinse & Kalamata olive brine) is potent enough to leave you tipsy after just one. The rest of the repertoire stands up to scrutiny: a Strawberry Caipirinha using balsamic vinegar is a typically brave departure from the norm. Two dozen decent wines include a zingy Shiraz Rose from Western Australia while fizz ranges from prosecco (£30) to Cristal (£150). Snacks favour pan-Asian staples, while the intimate interiors feature stone, smoked mirrors & leather booths. Dirty stop-outs can linger until 3am at weekends.
