With more than five years under its belt, Cinnamon at the Docklands Hilton remains one of the most attractive dining rooms in the area, though it’s off the main drag. That said, its clean-lined but colourful space has the flexibility to welcome guests on business or pleasure, & there’s the added bonus of a menu that hops around the globe for inspiration. Expect Euro-Asian crossovers & fusion mixed marriages alongside some more orthodox hotel cooking – from tomato consommé with shiso herbs, & sea bass with crispy won ton, herb salad & lime chermoula to T-bone steaks or lamb cutlets from the grill for Canary Wharf’s traditionalists. The two-course lunch menu (£18.50) is a good shout for business get-togethers.
