Part of the Hilton hotel, Cinnamon is an airy space with Asian-inspired decor – tobacco-hued leather banquettes, extravagant flower arrangements & the requisite cinnamon sticks decorate the dining room – that contrasts with a menu possessing a strong British accent. The menu features classics such as chicken liver parfait with spiced pear chutney & mains of grilled lemon sole, rump of lamb & Aberdeen Angus steak, plus less exciting hotel staples of burgers, club sandwiches & the ubiquitous Caesar salad. Round things off with English cheese or vanilla pannacotta with pear soup. The wine list features Old & New World options, with a good range in the £20-30 bracket, while the adjacent bar serves a long list of cocktails & oriental snacks such as salt & pepper squid.
