Lime

The Isle of Dogs is blessed with many good Indian restaurants but it’s worth seeking out Lime, hidden down a side street amid the ongoing march of Docklands tower blocks. Serving food that is ‘lighter, fresher & a bit more interesting than most’, this zesty restaurant not only covers all the familiar curry bases, but also extends to a host of more interesting dishes – chicken pistachio paneer masala, lobster jalfry & king prawn green mango curry to name but a few. The modern approach extends to the interior design, which is resplendent in a palette of lime green, black & orange. Lime’s reputation is on the up, as its growing sphere of influence testifies.
