As the name suggests, the large dining room of this Chinese restaurant has views over the River Thames from its perch in a converted warehouse. Service is friendly, the decor is smart & the menu offers a good choice of favourites such as crispy shredded beef with chilli. The real stars of the show however are the seafood dishes – the fried squid with jellyfish or fried shredded eel in a spicy sauce being our particular favourites. Given its location, Riverview attracts a mixture of local residents, workers & the odd clued-up tourist, too.
