South East Thai

Although it’s not quite as pretty as its rival Tamnag Thai a few doors down, South East Thai wins hands down in the food stakes. The ubiquitous pad thai & green curry serve as benchmarks for clean, distinct, traditional flavors, & when a dish is called ‘hot’, it really is. The lengthy menu takes in regional specialities such as kaeng pa, or ‘jungle curry’, & keate massaman, the milder southern lamb curry with peanuts, coconut milk & potatoes. Vegetarians are handsomely catered for with their own extensive, meatless starter & main sections, all presented by very pleasant staff.
