Come winter it’s perfect for curling up with simple, hearty food – duck & green peppercorn pate or char-grilled steak in ciabatta followed by cheese from La Fromagerie, though you’ll have to arrive early to bag yourself a good table. Music is all-important, the indie-crowd bopping along to live sets, gigs & club nights. The range of beers, wines & cocktails is decent.
