The simple but delicious pleasures of Persian cooking can be enjoyed to the full at this gem of a restaurant. The book & art-lined dining room makes for a cosy retreat in winter while summer sees outdoor tables set outside on a peaceful Bayswater backstreet. The smell of freshly baked bread makes ordering mezze starters too strong a temptation to resist – dunk it into rich aubergine & tangy yoghurt dip or use it to scoop up salads full of aromatic herbs. Main courses take in the expected stews & kebabs accompanied by piles of fluffy saffron rice. Hospitable service completes the experience.
