Square Meal review of FishWorks:
The 12-strong shoal of FishWorks restaurants all follow a similar template, with a wet fish counter showing off the super-fresh produce, attached to a modern, clean-lined dining room. The menu moves from gloriously simple whitebait with aioli to smoked haddock fishcakes with hollandaise & spinach, reeling in shellfish platters & whole turbot roasted with herbs & garlic along the way. The wine list is appropriately strong on whites, with good choice by the glass & half bottle, plus some lovely light reds, such as Gamay, that are well suited to fish.
