Pappadums

Pappadums has a great location on the pedestrianised quay overlooking Kew Gardens, but if you don’t happen to reside in the same smart development it’s a difficult spot to reach. Once there, however, you’ll find an expansive & very good looking place, its creams & yellows tempered with primary reds & blues, while antique Indian furniture & doors add detail & interest. The enormous menu runs through all the classics – tikkas & goshts abound – but there’s plenty else besides, such as champe kebab (clove-smoked lamb with cashew & yoghurt) & kadai tittar (marinated spiced partridge) for the more adventurous. Vegetarians are well served too.
