The Rake

If you’ve ever sampled the wares at Borough Market’s Utobeer stall, you’ll like The Rake, which is not only the smallest pub in London, it’s also run by the people behind Utobeer. The Rake boasts one of the most extraordinary beer lists in the country, with more than 100 bottled beers from around the world, plus half a dozen or so draught ales. The selection changes every so often, but in addition to offerings from predictable sources like England, Belgium & Germany, you’ll find exotic little numbers from America, Argentina & Austria – & that’s just the ‘A’s. If you don’t fancy a pint, there’s a small selection of ciders, perrys & various spirits.
