Handsome in archetypal French fashion since its recent revamp, Luc’s summons up pleasant thoughts of the Boulevard Montparnasse in the heart of Leadenhall Market, with its buzzy, informal air, zinc counter & art deco-ish details. The menu is short but to the point, serving up classic French brasserie food such as duck rillettes with red onion jam, snails or steak tartare to start, followed perhaps by rabbit fricassee with mustard & calvados or beef bourguignon; alternatively, there are French cuts of steak from the grill.
