By having its sushi bar tucked around the corner, this comfortable & well-designed, if diminutive, restaurant is better able to accommodate both the local cognoscenti & diverted passersby who walk in. The sushi, sashimi & Japanese standards of teriyaki & tempura are perfectly serviceable. Service from the agreeable Japanese staff does suffer on occasion from a language barrier.
