Nauroz

I used to go to Nauroz long time ago, but when it changed hands 2 years ago it just went downhill. Now after a very long time I decided to give them a try as the name had changed. I chose my old dish butter Chicken and Lamb masala. The butter chicken actually tasted of butter and lamb was deliciouly tender. Thank god we have again a good food place again here in eastcote. Highly recommended.

Nauroz is no longer and the place is now called Chillies. We just had dinner their last night. The ambiance is bit old and without much character, which is a shame. We went bit early and were there almost alone, but by the time we left, the place was nearly full.

Now for the good news: our meal was outstanding. We both had a three course meal with wine and paid in total £ 21,70. The lady who was serving was very attentive especially for a casual feeling restaurant.

Somebody pls teach them how to behave with customers!!

Firstly Nauroz doesn't exist any more. New owners have changed the name to something predictable like ‘Red Chillies’. I went in (20th Oct 09) thinking it's the old place, as some of the staff are from the good old days. But then steps in this lady with a false accent and oodles of attitude. She should be a pub bouncer than a host – as she has ecelled the art of making guests feel unwelcome. ‘Disgusting’ is how I'll sum up the quality of service.
