On a bright sunny day there are few better spots than outside this clean & quiet pub at the bottom of one of London’s chic new riverside developments. The vista overlooking the Thames is quite lovely. Given a big appetite & a rainy afternoon, however, the idea doesn’t seem nearly so attractive. The drinks are fine, as you would expect in a Young’s pub, but the food – duck salad, pastas & so forth – is pretty ordinary & very pricey.
