London party HQ to the eponymous festival & similarly monikered sister bar off Brick Lane, The Big Chill House delivers what it promises in so far as it’s big, chilled (especially on its rear decked terrace) & House will likely feature in the music supplied by the big-name DJs that spin here – expect progressive & twisted as opposed to provincial handbag. The look is laid-back – a slightly mis-matched mix of office canteen, sauna & low-key nightclub. Classic cocktails (Mojito, Bloody Mary) & specials such as Summer Of Love (exotic fruits & prosecco) are decent value at £6.50, & food includes all-day party nibbles, plus barbecues in summer.
