As you’d expect from a Caribbean restaurant, the vibe at Cottons is sunny & laid back & there is plenty of generously-portioned soul food on offer. Jerk chicken, salt fish, goat curries, fried plantain & rice ’n’ peas all make a menu showing, but cooking quality can be inconsistent. Expect nothing but good times from the lively basement bar, which has an epic rum list & regular live music.
