It’s no bad thing that this kitsch gastrobar full of quirky design features is located off Camden’s main drag – it keeps the riff-raff out & the friendly, trendy crowd in. On a long list of cocktails, averaging £5.75 (Champagne cocktails will cost you a quid more), you’ll find the refreshing Cucumber Mojito & the berry-fresh Forbidden Fruits (mixed berries, Bombay Sapphire & ginger beer). A straightforward food offering includes fish finger sandwiches, grilled haloumi salads & burgers, which are cheap & filling. There’s also a decent Sunday roast & bar snacks (nachos & onion rings) served until 8pm. An upstairs room can be booked for private parties & there’s also a garden.
