Square Meal review of Rodizio Rico:
Based on the concept of the churrascaria, or Brazilian barbecue, Rodizio Rico offers a South American spin on the all-you-can-eat idea. It’s consequently not the most sophisticated night out but if you’re in the mood for a meat-feast (competitively priced at £19) it’s hard to beat. First fill your plate up with rice & salad at the buffet, then return to your table & simply tell the waiters what you’d like to eat as they circulate the brick-lined room proffering long skewers of pork leg & spare ribs, chicken thighs & wings & almost every cut of beef. There are also seafood, veggie & kids’ versions that descend in price. The wine list is good value & surprisingly lengthy, with something big & juicy from Argentina the best bet – a Don Davi Reserve Shiraz for £21, perhaps.
