Square Meal review of China Boulevard:
Reports of surliness, long waits & a language barrier indicate this massive, 400-seat Chinese riverside restaurant has yet to resolve all its service problems. But a menu as vast as the place itself argues in its favour, covering as it does a full range of classics as well as less familiar dishes such as salt & pepper sea cucumber, stone-grilled lamb curry & rotisserie meats on steamed rice. There’s a full vegan section, too. Favourites from the comprehensive lunchtime dim sum menu (till 4pm weekdays, 5pm weekends) include a suitably slithery prawn cheung fun, zingy chilli pot stickers & delicate prawn & chive dumplings.
