This local institution, a short stroll from London Fields, shows some of the less consistent Vietnamese eateries down Kingsland Road how it should be done. It’s relaxed, reliable & the value-for-money grub delivers the fresh, bright flavours you’d hope for. Starters alone are enough for a meal: the spicy deep-fried squid & tender rare beef salad come highly recommended. Stir-fried mains range across fish, beef, lamb & chicken, with plenty for veggies & 10 tofu options. Service is friendly & efficient, & the small alfresco area out back is a top spot for summer.
