Plateau Bar at Canada Place

The ‘lovely light space’ & the same ‘fantastic views’ make the more laid-back side of the Plateau venue a popular spot for business lunch & apres work. Roughly divided into two halves, the open-plan area has a great-looking bar by the entrance serving Champagne, cocktails & a fine malt selection, while seating for the grill is set alongside the windows, spilling out onto an adjoining terrace. Food ranges from a simple fish pie to a posher crispy-skinned salmon with aubergine caviar. Quiet conversation seekers should book into the restaurant (see separate review) as the bar can get very loud.
