Kentish Town is a neighbourhood strong on pubs & gastropubs, but there’s little in the way of actual bars. Step forward Bullet, a vibrantly decorated place with cherry-coloured walls & leather sofas where the emphasis is on music, with regular live performances from acoustic acts, bands & DJs. A friendly, eclectic crowd drink pints of Budweiser, bottles of Budvar & two-for-£9 cocktails, then takes to the dance floor. The garden is great for balmy summer evenings. Note: an entry fee is usually charged, so call ahead for details.
